How to change the
toolbar font size in Firefox
Good gawd, Mozilla! Why don’t you provide a quick option for
changing the toolbar and menu font size? I’m not talking about web pages, that
can be adjusted using ctl +/-. No, we’re talking
about the microscopic font you’re using in your menus. There was an extension
to do this, the Theme Font and Size Changer, but after the Quantum update it no
longer works. D’oh! You’ve killed many of my favorite
extensions with this update.
So I’ll cut
to the chase:
- In a new
tab in Firefox, go to about:config
- In the search bar, search for the term “layout.css.devPixelsPerPx”
- The value
will probably be something stupid like “-1”. Change that to, say, 1.1 or 1.2.
And there
you go. Simple. So why is Mozilla making this so difficult?
